| The Gathering began with a simple desire to see those whose hearts longed for the deep things of God gather together in unity and worship their King without the judgments of man. Too many times had we witnessed true lovers of the Lord trampled on by the religious leaders of our day because they didn't look like what the religious church says a Christian should look like. Worn down from trying to please the traditions and standards of man, Pulse of God Ministries took the church back "'ol skool." During the first century church, there was no pulpit and no church building. The Bride of Christ simply met in homes in the area and worshipped, taught, and prophesied as the Spirit led. We wanted a place where believers and non-believers alike could experience church the way it was meant to be experienced, a pursuit of divine love with our Maker without the baggage and religiosities of man. | |||||

People with many different background gathered together every Saturday night at the Pardue's small North Georgia apartment. Some came to worship; some came to glean; some came to learn; some came out of pure curiosity, and still others came to criticize and refute the reality of our God. Whatever the circumstance was however, time and time again theLord revealed Himself in ways that even those who entered that apartment with negative intentions, left softened and with a seed of faith planted within them.

| While we always had one focus and one goal, to bring those in our midst deeper in intimacy with the Living God, there were no two Saturdays alike. Sometimes we would worship for hours, singing prophetic songs to the Lord as we entered encounters in the heavenlies together, while sometimes the teaching anointing overpowered the evening and brilliant insights into the Word were released. Prophecy was a central focus as well, and there wasn't a person who stepped through those apartment doors that wasn't blessed by a word from their Father. For some, dreams, destinies and desires were foretold as though those proclaiming these idiosyncrasies had known them for years. (Of course, the One who truly was proclaiming them had in fact known them even before their mother bore them!) | |||||

One particular night stands out above all the rest because for reasons unbeknownst to us, we had an atheist walk through our door. While he entered an atheist, he left a child of God, and just a few weeks later was baptized in newness of life. For that full testimony, please CLICK HERE.
On yet another night, a group of Universalists paid us a visit. While they sat quietly through worship, once the music stopped, it was clear their intention was not to worship in unity, but to refute the single path of life that leads to the Father, that is JESUS. While most of the group kept quiet, the "leader" of the group began pounding questions at Jason in an attempt to either anger him and disrupt the atmosphere that had been set, or to simply disprove our belief that Jesus is the sole door to the Father. |

While many might have risen up in anger, Jason not only answered their questions with astounding meekness, but he then called on the other members of Pulse of God to demonstrate the power of the Spirit and the true path of life: Jesus. One by one, the Pulse of God team began prophesying over the Universalist group, each proclaiming accurate words of knowledge. After the team was finished, the leader instructed his group to leave, but not before he turned to Jason and said, "Wow. You've got a lot of power." Perhaps threatened by the truth that Jesus was the source of that power, he and his group left, but not before being touched by the light of God. We can only pray that as the ministry team remained obedient to give what the Lord had given, that God the Father will grant that seed increase, that it may come to fruition.

In addition to occasionally having guest speakers, Pulse of God was also invited to host the Gathering in other homes as well which provided us with the opportunity to expose even more people to the truth of our Lord and Savior!

| Overall, the Gathering was simply a place where anyone, whether a child, an elder, a goth, a punk, a raver, or a rocker could come and experience God in love and further their walk with Him without the unfortunate judgments of religiosity. We saw many great things during this time, and look forward to what the future holds! | |||||
