On Saturday, July 3, 2006, the Pulse of God ministry team descended upon the small mountain town of Helen, GA with a mission. Their aim was to celebrate with our fellow citizens our nation’s independence, while at the same time call to remembrance an international Freedom Fighter, winning the independence of all who would call upon His name: Jesus.
At 7 PM, the team set up “spiritual reading” booths in front of the city’s main stage in order to prophesy words of life and hope. In addition to the ongoing spiritual reading and prayer booths set up, at 9 PM, once the sun set behind the horizon, Jason took the stage to preach an illustrated message of freedom, a message that would confront the audience with their own personal liberties in an attempt to reveal to them their need of a Savior. Featuring key freedom fighters such as William Wallace and Martin Luther King Jr., Jason detailed their lives as heroes of the liberty that so many take for granted.
Concluding the message, Jason showed clips from the movie “The Passion,” which exhibited what one Man did to win the freedom of all. Jesus Christ truly is the world’s ultimate freedom fighter, and it was our goal on that evening to not only celebrate our freedom as Americans but also as children of God, free from the bondage of our adversary
At the close of the event, Jason gave an open call to the audience for salvation, prayer, and deliverance. Several people approached the team afterwards and continued in their blessing as they received prayer for a myriad of circumstances.

"Freedom Reigns" will stand out in the minds of the Pulse of God team as an event that not only brought hope to many, but also confronted the hearts of those who had grown content in their walk with God. So now we ask, “What will you do to win the freedom of others?
